Dear Fabulous Woman,
How are you doing, my Queen.
As June comes to an end, I would like you to take some time to pray for your husband (and husband-to-be) if unmarried.
The old timers on this platform know this, before Fabulous Woman grew to where we are today, we’d mobilise ourselves to Pray for our Husbands yearly in June. This call to prayer, however, is not a mere fulfilment of routines but a prompting worth our attention.
So, I encourage you to pray for your husband. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 had me looking at a husband as King, Leader and the one God has given a position of Head. Read the scripture below in this understanding and use it to pray.
“First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the [divine] truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1-4 AMP
Pray that as God draws him close, he will yield
Pray for him to lead with integrity and strength
Pray for wisdom
Pray that he’d be surrounded by the right friends and company
Pray that his health and body will not fail him
Pray that his peace will be multiplied and his joy increased
Pray love will fill his heart
Pray he is covered with divine favour
Pray that grace is multiplied unto him and he experiences ease in every area of his life
Pray over the work of his hands, the prosperity of his mind and his finances
I pray that as you intercede for your man, God will exceed your expectations in Jesus. Amen.
